Your photos and cameras

Photos you check are read inside your browser and are never uploaded. Camera connections over USB happen between your browser and the camera. ShutterOdo has no accounts and stores nothing about the cameras you check.

What the hosting provider sees

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages logs standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. That data is used for security and to keep the site running.

Affiliate links

After a reading, ShutterOdo may show links to MPB, a used camera marketplace. If you buy or sell through them, MPB pays ShutterOdo a commission at no cost to you. MPB sets its own cookies when you visit its site. No photo data or camera details are sent to MPB beyond the model name in the link.

Check history

Your recent checks are saved in your browser's local storage on this device so you can see them later. They never leave your device. Remove them any time from the list under the checker, or by clearing site data.

Ads and analytics

ShutterOdo doesn't run ads or third-party analytics today. If that changes, this page will be updated before they go live, including any cookie choices.
